Try and have fun with fitness and choose something you will enjoy. If you like team sports like basketball, many township recreation departments offer open gyms for you to play.
Working out doesn’t always mean you have to spend $$ on a gym membership. Exercising outdoors can be invigorating. Hiking, biking, swimming, jogging and walking are all good forms of “FREE” exercise.
If you prefer the solitude of working out alone because it clears your head, then by all means put your headphones on, crank up the music and find your zone.

Choose a friend or family member with whom you can work out. Having another person working alongside you is a great motivator. Also, try hiring a trainer to take you to the next level. If you know you have to pay for the session whether you skip it or not, you’ll be more inclined to think twice about being lazy.
Schedule your workout times when it’s most convenient for you. Your workout will become part of your daily routine simply by scheduling your workout at the same time every day. The nice thing about exercise is that you can get it done before work, during lunch or after work. Try hitting the gym on your way home from work, if you go home first you may not get to the gym.
